Abstract
Oral history interview with Sydney Mortenson of the U.S. Army Air Force during the Second World War. Mortenson was shot down over Germany and was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 3. He was liberated by General George Patton's Third Army in April 1945.
T. Sydney Mortenson was born in Hampden, North Dakota, on 31 March 1917 and died on 19 December 2011 in Denver, Colorado.
