    Description

Two young people lounge, one writing and the other reading, on the front lawn of the old Carnegie Public Library. They are wearing light winter jackets. In the background is the library facade on the right and the side of the Wesley United Methodist Church on the left. Constructed in 1901, this Carnegie building would be torn down within a year of this photo, making way for the new library on the south end of town.
