Description
This photos looks southwest across the railroad as girders of various lengths stick up from the ground between it and the road nearby. The road was 6th Avenue South at the time, but would later connect withe and be renamed DeMers Avenue. Also between the road and tracks are a 1960s Ford pickup truck, a towering Link-Belt pile driver, and two men nearby. To the left on a rise is a crane. It is clearly winter, with snow covering the ground, the trees bare, and the people dressed in heavy clothing.
