Description
This photo was taken from just outside the fair grounds racing area looking west toward the grandstands. Snowdrifts fill the area. In the foreground is a dilapidated fence, with sections of corrugated metal falling away and barbwire strung across the top. A sign on the fence reads "KEEP OFF. STATE PROPERTY. Order of SHERIFF." Beyond, to the left, is a multistory building in even more disrepair. The tops of other buildings can be seen past the grandstands.
