"In 1918, when this picture was taken, 'The Other Half of the Note' was playing at the Fotoplay Theater. Ten cents would admit any adult. Located at 6 North Third Street in the building adjacent to the St. John's Block, the Fotoplay was one of seven movie houses in Grand Forks." (from Grand Forks: A Pictorial History page 101)
