    Description

    Black and white aerial photograph the the North Dakota State Mill, located on Mill Road. Operations officially began in October 1922 as a landmark initiative of the Nonpartisan League to support local farmers.

    It is the largest single flour mill in the United States and remains the only state-owned milling facility in the country and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
