From James Carley's notes: Ovoid stoneware jar 16" high, of a red-tan body. Lug handles. Olive yellow and olive brown matt glazes. Capacity mark 4 scrached under one of the handles. Base & rim are unglazed. Ribbing shows. The glaze has chipped off or worn off in a number of places. Purchased from evelyn Haynes, Gainesville GA. She bought it near Sylva NC.
