Additional Information
From James Carley's notes: Redware stew pot with handle. Light in weight. The body appears corroded. Transparent glaze inside, dripping somewhat over the lip. Worn off the rim. The handle starts at the rim and ends with a thumb dimple. A good shape with a neatly defined collar. The bottom is burned black from the stove. Purchased Indianapolis antique show. A Dayton firm.
