Description

View of Davis Hall parlor, including several chairs and tables scattered around the room. On the left side of the room is a fireplace with a framed portrait of Hannah E. Davis, who had been the preceptress/matron for all the women students from 1892 to 1896, hanging above. Opposite of the fireplace, on the right side, is a piano, with sheet music, between two metal heat radiators. Hanging from the ceiling are three chandeliers and around the room runs chair molding and wallpaper. Ladies Hall was built in 1887 and renamed for Davis in 1900.
