Description
The Oxcart Parade, a part of the 1914 Pageant of the Northwest makes its way toward campus. The Parade features explorers on horseback, Native Americans with travoises and oxcarts. The Pageant of the Northwest was written by eighteen students under the supervision of Orin G. Libby and Fredrick Koch. The pageant employed several students and a few Native American extras to portray the four successive stages of the exploration of the Northwest.
