Christopher Hewat was born in 1949 New York City, NY and is currently based out of Connecticut. He is best known for his sculptures that often constructed out of wood and metals such as brass. Christopher Hewat has work in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Princeton University Art Museum and many others.
