Description
In this letter, dated June 1, 1949, from United States (US) William Langer to Lieutenant General Clarence R. Huebner, Commanding General of the US Army, Europe, Langer writes that he is enclosing additional materials he has received from the Reverend T. W. Strieter attesting to the innocence of convicted Nazi war criminal Martin Sandberger, who, Langer notes, is scheduled for execution.
