Description
In this audiovisual recording from Thursday, March 25, 2004, as part of the 35th Annual UND Writers Conference, “3:5,” Larry Woiwode reads an excerpt from Beyond the Bedroom Wall: A Family Album and from Born Brothers. He also reads some of his poems, including “[Horses sleep in the wind-driven snow northwest Out of Fargo],” “A Deserted Barn,” among others. He reads from the works of various Associate Poet Laureates of North Dakota, including Heid E. Erdrich’s “Translation,” Louise Erdrich’s “Mary Magdalene,” and Jamie Parsley’s “Keen.” He ends with some presentations, as well as by answering questions from the audience.
