Abstract

The flood of '97, in the Greater Grand Forks area crested April 21, 1997 at 54.11 feet causing severe damage to the communities and the University of North Dakota. This program contains footage of the University of North Dakota campus during the height of the 1997 flood. The purpose was to demonstrate to the State Board of Higher Education the challenges faced by the University and its progress toward recovery.
