Description
UND goalie Joe Lech makes the save on a shot by Gopher Dave Brooks during the 1962-63 season as Bob Bartlett (16) watches. A native of Glen Bain, Saskatchewan, Lech played goalie from 1962 until 1965 and saved 89% of all shots on goal. Bartlett, also a Canadian, played from 1961 to 1963 and scored a total of 24 goals. Both players were members of the 1963 NCAA Championship team. This photograph can also be found in the 1963 Dacotah Annual, page 84.
