Artist Bio
C. Dennis Guastella was born in Detroit, MI in 1947. He majored in painting at Wayne State where he earned his BFA. He went on to earn his MFA in painting at Eastern Michigan University.
Guastella accepted an Assistant Professorship at South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota and then relocated to Michigan to Chair the Visual Arts Department at Washtenaw Community College, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Guastella's work is featured in multiple collections across the midwest including the University of Nebraska, South Dakota Museum of Art, Joslyn Art Museum, and Oakland University.
