Artist Bio
Linda Olson is a North Dakota artist and educator who was raised in McHenry County and has lived in Minot since 1990. She earned cum laude degrees from Minot State University, University of Montana, and University of North Dakota. Olson works in a variety of media but considers ceramics her primary artistic medium. Since 1990, she has taught studio art at Minot State University, where she serves as a professor and chair of the Division of Art and Professional Communication. Her artwork is regularly exhibited throughout the region and reflects her longstanding commitment to arts education and community engagement.
