Skip Steinworth received an art degree in the early 1970s. Since then, he has worked as a full-time studio artist for over 40 years and has had group and solo exhibits across the country. His work is featured in many collections including those of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. He was also awarded a Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship in 1999 and 2003. He produced hand-printed lithographs for many years before returning to exclusive work with graphite pencils. Still-lifes are his primary subject matter.
