Note from the artist:
"As a contemporary artist, I use graphic design as a tool for producing my artwork. My goal is to create visually interesting concise designs that quickly capture the attention of the viewer. Through the use of visual elements, I maintain the viewers' interest while they study the social content of the piece. This "instant communication" concept mimics today's society. In general, we are a society of instant gratification, and are not willing to invest time into things without an assurance of a positive outcome. This attitude extends into conservation and care for the planet Earth. Lacking instant results, many do not believe there is a problem, or they believe that single person cannot make an impact, either positive or negative.
My exhibition focuses on the co-existence and interdependency of all living creatures. I firmly believe that every living thing, from bacteria to buffalo, I have been placed on Earth to serve a specific purpose. I also believe that all livings things need all other living things to survive. Some of the interdependency may be very indirect, and although there is no way to determine the full impact of the elimination of a species will have, it is rational to assume that the extinction of a single species will eventually affect all other creatures in a negative manner.
The work I have designed is intended to acknowledge conservation issues, and to encourage the audience to become informed about the interdependency of the natural kingdom. This will hopefully lead the viewer to cultivate a healthy respect and reverence for the natural kingdom."
