Sidewinder exemplifies the brilliant, colorful aesthetic that Luis Jimenez proudly associated with his Mexican American heritage. While Jimenez was best known as a sculptor, he also worked in printed media, creating iconic images of the people, land, and animal inhabitants of his home in the desert Southwest.
