A dedicated education professional , Dr. Cynthia Lindquist has served as President of Cankdeska Cikana Community College since October, 2003. She began her educational career as an adjunct faculty member in Community Medicine & Rural Health at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She is a founding member if the National Indian Women's Health Resource Center, has served as a member of the Council of Public Representatives, and is a former Executive Director of the North Dakota Indian Affairs Commission.
Dr. Lindquist serves as chair, Boards of Directors for the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. Dr. Lindquist was recently appointed to the American Council on Education Women's Networks Executive Council.
