Artist Bio
Anne Harris is an artist who uses painting, drawing, sometimes printmaking to explore perception and self-perception through the portrait. She received her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis in 1986, and her MFA from Yale in 1988. Harris has exhibited in over a hundred solo and group exhibitions at venues ranging from the Smithsonian Institute, the Portland Museum of Art, to the North Dakota Museum of Art. She currently teaches in the BFA and MFA programs at the Art Institute of Chicago.
