Artist Bio
Dan Attoe is a painter who lives and works in Portland, Oregon. His work is collected internationally and has been shown extensively throughout the United States. UND’s department of Art and Design hosted the artist for a week in March 2010. He exhibited slides of his art at UND’s Hughes Fine Arts Center.

At the bottom is a skull with wings, underneath is written 'passing through'. Above the skull is a small winter scene. To the right of the winter scene is a heart skewered onto a branch. Above the heart is written 'need’. To the left of the winter scene is the head of a man above which is written 'hope'. Above the winter scene is a moose head.
