Artist Bio

Gregory Blair obtained his BFA in Sculpture in 2001 from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, his MFA in Sculpture in 2004 from UND, and his PhD in Visual Art: Art Theory and Aesthetics in 2014 from the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts in Portland, Maine. From 2009 – 2019, Blair worked as an associate professor of art at Northern State University in Aberdeen South Dakota. Afterward, he became an instructor of graphic design between 2019 – 2021 at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. Blair has now been working as the assistant professor of art and design at the same university since 2021. Blair has many art forms ranging from drawings, wood working, video, photography, mixed media, and writing.
