Kathryn Maxwell is a Professor at Arizona State University in Tempe. She holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin and a BA from North western University in Evanston, IL. She has had numerous solo exhibitions, including those at the Universities of Tennessee, Georgia and Arizona. Her work has been included in exhibitions throughout the U.S., Canada, and India in such venues as the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, and the Center of Contemporary Art in St. Louis. Maxwell's prints have been included in the juried exhibitions of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society, the Boston Printmakers, the Southern Graphics Council and the American Print Alliance. She has received numerous awards for her work and is included in the collections of universities, museums and companies throughout the U.S.
