Additional Information
I chose to explore some of the impacts that people have on nature. The balance between humanity and nature has and always will be a fragile thing. We cannot have Humanity as it is today without the resources that nature provides. Yet as humanity grows our influence on nature has become far more negative. Oil is what makes human society run, with prices per barrel affecting the cost of other gasoline. This changes the prices of items in the market because of how much gasoline is used to send products to consumers. The rate that we pull the oil out of the earth fluctuates depending on how much we 'need' at any given time. Much like the function of our own hearts through our lives, The heart is the Human machine that pumps the societal "blood", the oil, out of the earth. While in the process of bleeding the ground to fuel our society we are destroying nature and covering its beauty. By removing the human influence (light) we can view nature (the tree) in all of its glory.
