Artist Statement:
Too Much, Too Fast is a typographical statement about the realities of the oil boom in the wester Dakotas. The negative space created by the modern typography on the wood grain symbolizes the impact of industrialization on nature. The phrase, which echoes the catchiness of modern pop lyrics hints at the numerous slogans often used to justify unjust actions.
