Artist Bio

Kathryn McCleery served as a professor of visual arts from 1973 until her retirement in 2005. In 2006, she was granted the title of Professor Emerita.

Her work can be seen on the Campbell Public Library in East Grand Forks, where her brick relief piece “Good Friends” near the entrance, was completed in 2001 for the grand opening of the library.

McCleery moved to rural Wisconsin following her retirement and passed away in 2022.

UND Centennial Print Portfolio 1983

A set of eleven prints was produced to commemorate UND's Centennial. Joining ten UND Visual Art's faculty was a former UND professor and Art Department Chair, Robert A. Nelson. The Centennial Print Portfolio was published in an edition of 75, plus twelve artist's proofs.
