Abstract
In preparing this work of fiction, the author examined how characters used storytelling and acts of imagination to create their own lives. The two central characters of this work come to know one another largely through the sharing of memory and their shared imaginings, and their eventual union is a coming together of their individual stories. The text includes twelve short stories that may either be read as independent works or as a sustained whole.
