Abstract
The intent of this study is to determine if there is a link between nurse job satisfaction and patient satisfaction with nurses. It is important in health care that nurses employed in a facility are satisfied with their jobs and that patients are satisfied with the care they receive while they are a patient in the hospital. The satisfaction of both nurses and the patients served in hospitals ultimately affects the bottom line of that hospital. The outcome of this study indicates there is evidence that a relationship exists between some aspects of nurse job satisfaction and some types of patient satisfaction.
