Abstract
The problem of this study was to determine which factors Minnesota metropolitan and rural technology education teachers consider most important in determining job satisfaction, and to ascertain which group is most satisfied with their profession based upon these factors.
The objectives of this study were to:

Determine what common elements are involved in determining job satisfaction

Develop an instrument to survey selected Minnesota metropolitan and rural technology education teachers concerning job satisfaction

Determine the relationship between the metropolitan and rural teacher groups concerning job satisfaction
