Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate and analyze the on-board computerized engine management systems for the major automobile producers to determine: (1) the analogous concepts among systems and (2) develop a teaching model of those concepts. It was undertaken in response to the difficulty of teaching many different engine management systems to students in automotive classes. A review of literature revealed little information on analogous concepts of domestic and imported engine management systems
