Abstract
The thesis hero abstracted was written under the direction of Walter C. Koenig and approved by John L, Quaday and Roy U. Jorgenson as members of the examining committee, of which Walter C. Koenig was chairman.
The purposes of this study were to furnish interested individuals with: (1) an authentic record of events that led to the construction of the portable board indoor running track and (2) information in methods or details of procedure that will facilitate construction of similar portable board indoor running tracks.
Relationships of the background and planning stages behind the actual construction of the portable board indoor running track in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada were exhibited.
Photographic reproductions of original blueprints and plans wore used to show dimensions and specifications of Canadian Legion’s portable board indoor running track in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Major recommendation a as follows: (1) further study of the Canadian Legion’s indoor track and field program.
