Abstract
The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the anatomical structure, mechanism of injury, treatment, surgery, and rehabilitation of one recurrent anterior tibial compartment syndrome.
A case study of one twenty-six-year-old female subject was the basis for this study. The procedure used for the subject's rehabili tation program was presented.
The results of this rehabilitation program were satisfactory. The subject was able to return to her program of jogging and six months after surgery, was running U to 6 miles a day, three to four times a week.
The rehabilitation program may be used as a guideline for future programs. It was designed specifically for one individual, and there fore, should not be generalized to a population.
