Abstract

Using the first and second formant frequencies of 4 vowels, this code creates 2 overlapping vowel quadrilaterals. One for the values provided and another from the Watrous 1991 data set. The Watrous data set is the corrected version of the normal vowel data from Peterson and Barney 1954. The output is an editable plot.
