Abstract
Since the discovery of endogenous opiates in the early 1970's, researchers have investigated many aspects of this new mystery.- Structure, distribution, and physiological parameters are some of the areas of concern. As with any new area of study, research techniques are not fully refined and, therefore, discrepancies in experimental results do exist. The current literature does provide some answers while raising many new questions
