Abstract
This paper explores how social media affects mental health and how individuals can combat its negative impacts. We reviewed multiple studies on the effects of social media on different demographics, including children, college students, and adults in the UK. Key findings show that gender, social media usage, and support systems play significant roles in mental health outcomes.
