Gift/Purchase Information

Gift from Dr. Gretchen Adams Syfert who received the vase from her grandmother, Mrs. Alice Adams. Mrs. Alice Adams was from New Rockford, North Dakota. She had two sons that attended UND - the donor's father, Warren Earl Adams (b. 1909) and his brother, Ralph Adams. Warren attended UND on a golf scholarship, and this vase was likely a gift to their mother by one of the sons. It was passed down to the donor's mother, then to the donor, who graduated from UND in June, 1967 and was active in Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women.
