The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center is built where the UND theatre tradition began many years ago on the banks of the English Coulee. On October 12, 1972, it opened its doors to the public with a performance from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonic Choir. In the 50 years since the center has played host to a wide variety of musical performers, whose photographs are displayed in the center. This collection serves as a digital archive of those photographs.
