Abstract

Two representatives from the U.S. attorney's office in North Dakota have been recognized nationally for their contributions.

Former prosecutor Lynn Jordheim and supervisory paralegal Lou Ann Lee were among 243 employees singled out by Attorney General Eric Holder at the 30th annual director's awards ceremony in Washington earlier this week.

Jordheim recently retired after 26 years in the U.S. attorney's office. He has served the last decade as the top assistant in the office. He took over proceedings for the state's only death penalty case after Alfonso Rodriguez Jr. was sentenced and there was a changeover in U.S. attorneys.
