Abstract

The University of North Dakota will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking for the new $122 million School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) building Thursday, June 12, 3 p.m., at the northwest corner of the Hamline Square Apartments parking lot, on the Bronson Property, northeast of the Ralph Engelstad Arena (REA). Parking is available in the north lot of the REA, and a shuttle will bring attendees to the groundbreaking site.

A preview of the new building and refreshments will be available in the REA lobby following the groundbreaking. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the REA lobby. Please read more.
