About the UND Student Art Collective:

UND's Art Student Collective (ASC) is a student organization that sponsors a yearly art competition. This year ASC has invited Jessica Halonen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, to juror the show. Halonen received her MFA in Painting from Washington University in Saint Louis and her BA from Kalamazoo College. She has been an artist in residence at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire and a Core Fellow at the Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas.

The student exhibition will include between 30-40 works and exhibition awards will be provided. Local business organizations, as well as individual supporters sponsor the awards. The ASC would like to thank their community sponsors for making these awards possible. Community support for this event will be recognized at the opening reception and posted in the gallery.
