Abstract

As part of the holiday festivities, the UND CNPD held a food drive sponsored by faculty, staff and students. Tracy Enger's "Expectant Family" class adopted the project by decorating the collection boxes and distributing the collected food to the Salvation Army. 2 large carts of non-perishable, nutritious food items were delivered. This was a terrific way for us to give back to the community and people in need; while educating people on the growing hunger problem right here in Grand Forks. "To see the boxes filling up and knowing it was for a good cause was wonderful...." Phyllis Vold, administrative assistant. The spirit of the season is alive and well in the CNPD.
