The worldwide recognition continues for Kayla Delzer, a University of North Dakota graduate and teacher in Mapleton, N.D.

Delzer was recently one of 100 educators in the world selected to the Global 100, which highlights innovative ideas used in classrooms. The list is compiled by the nonprofit HundrED.

Delzer's idea of flexible classroom seating, inspired by Starbucks, seeks to give students ownership of their learning and classroom environment. The innovative idea was one of 10 selected in the United State.
