Senator Quentin Burdick speaks at the dedication of Centre (Community Extended Nuclear Transition Residence for Ex-Offenders) Inc. in Fargo in June 1979. The mission of Centre Inc. is to "provide rehabilitative services to individuals to achieve social reintegration."

The son of Representative Usher Burdick, Quentin Burdick represented North Dakota in the United States House of Representatives from 1958 to 1960 and the United States Senate from 1960 until his death in 1992.
