Description

Pat Nixon talks with supporters at her husband's speech at UND on September 14, 1960. Vice-President Richard Nixon visited UND during the 1960 presidential campaign and spoke at the Fieldhouse. Nixon remarked that "Students should remember that the battle for peace and freedom will be won if America maintains its moral and spiritual strength" to a crowd of almost 8,500.
