Governor George Sinner, Lois Erickstad, and North Dakota Supreme Court Chief Justice Ralph Erickstad attend a reception for Bismarck civic leaders at the State Capitol in 1989. George Sinner was the 29th Governor in North Dakota history, serving from 1985 until 1992. Ralph Erickstad sat on the state Supreme Court from 1962 until 1992 and served as Chief Justice for the final 20 years.
