An undated snapshot of Senator Quentin Burdick visiting with Hubert Humphrey. The son of Representative Usher Burdick, Quentin Burdick represented North Dakota in the United States House of Representatives from 1958 to 1960 and the United States Senate from 1960 until his death in 1992.

Hubert Humphrey served Minnesota as Vice-President of the United States from 1965 until 1969 and for two terms in the U.S. Senate: 1949 to 1964 and 1971 to 1978.
