State Representative and House Majority Leader Earl Strinden attending a 1977 meeting at the International Peace Gardens. A Republican, Strinden represented Grand Forks in the North Dakota House of Representatives from 1974 until his retirement in 2000. He also served for many years as President of the UND Alumni Association and Foundation.
