A 1972 photograph of Chet Reiten, Mayor of Minot and long-time State Senator. Reiten served in the North Dakota Senate from 1973 until 1989 and was instrumental in establishing and growing Høstfest, a celebration of Scandinavian history and heritage, held annually in Minot.
